About Cornerstone

Christian Books and Crafts at Cornerstone Bookshop, Skipton

Cornerstone has been trading in Skipton for over 21 years providing a wide range of Christian books and resources to the local churches, schools and community. We are a registered charityrun by a Board of Trustees who oversees the vision and direction of the business.

The day to day running of the shop is delegated to a Management Team and Volunteers. Both Staff and Trustees are committed to providing a personal and professional service to a wide range of customers including local churches, schools, Christian organisations, dioceses, educational services, conferences and the local and tourist community of Skipton.

Our old Yorkshire stone shop can be found just off the bustling Skipton High Street with its flourishing market. It holds three main book rooms and a resources room over two floors. Our small but cosy coffee lounge provides hot drinks and snacks and a comfortable space in which to rest or chat withothers.

Cornerstone is more than a shop. It's a community of people who love books. Our staffs are trained to help you find that right book or resource, and maybe the customer looking alongside you will help as well. Allow plenty of time when you visit us... you'll need it.
